Jamba Juice Hiring Youth for Jobs in Long Beach

Smoothie chain Jamba Juice announced on Monday that it will hire approximately 3,500 youth nationwide for summer jobs during a national hiring day Tuesday.

The chain, based in Emeryville, Calif., said that a significant number of its positions will be filled in California, including positions at its stores in the Long Beach area.

"A tough economy and fierce competition for summer jobs means many youth will be unable to find employment this summer," Jamba Juice spokesperson Gwynneth Dodge said in a release. "Jamba hopes its summer jobs initiative will make finding that job much easier."

Interviews for part-time as well as full-time positions will be conducted on March 5 from 2-6 p.m. at the Long Beach Jamba Juice located at 4085 Atlantic Avenue.
