Get Out: Five Ideas For Your Weekend

This weekend boasts band battles, beer brunch and buoyant bikes.

Regarding fathers, Mark Twain once said, “When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished by how much he'd learned in seven years.”

Dads certainly do endure a lot over the years - slammed doors, dented cars, phone calls from the principal - Father's Day is a nice chance to say thanks for all they have weathered. Maybe you can do so this weekend by treating the father figure in your life to a cruise around the harbor; either in a boat with brunch, or on a special bike designed to ride on water.

Our goal is to make the Get Out planner as reliable as possible, but keep in mind, some events change at the last minute. We advise calling ahead just in case.
