Bayside Restaurant To Offer Complimentary Shuttle Service To Hyatt’s Summer Concert Series

The Summer Concert Series at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is one of the city’s most popular traditions. But with a mass concentration of people looking for a parking spot all at the same time, navigating through the traffic quagmire can put a dent in enjoying the evening’s festivities.  But one local restaurant might have the perfect solution.  Bayside Restaurant in Newport Beach is offering complimentary round-trip shuttle service for patrons dining before the Friday night concerts, which this year include Natalie Cole, Kenny Loggins, Rick Springfield and Macy Gray, among others.

            “Many of our guests attend the concerts and have grown to love them, but long lines of traffic and limited number of spaces sometimes strip away some of the joy,” said Marc Ghoukassian, proprietor of Bayside.  “We decided to extend this service as a courtesy for our guests and hopefully reach some new ones.”

            After the concerts, live music continues at Bayside with the restaurant’s popular “All That Jazz” series featuring some of Southern California’s top musicians who gather each week to jam.  A special bar menu as well as specialty cocktails, featured wines and craft beers are served during the 10:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. sessions.

             Bayside is a contemporary dining establishment with an extensive menu emphasizing fresh seafood. The 246-seat restaurant, that overlooks the tranquil waters of Newport Harbor, recently completed a massive interior renovation that includes new color scheme, seating and fabric upholstery, modern lighting, acoustical improvements and a generous use of macassar ebony, a rare wood from Indonesia.  The remodeled interior lends the ideal backdrop to Bayside's ever-evolving fine art exhibition.  The wrap-around patio comes with built-in heaters and sun drapes and its large windows offer breathtaking views of the harbor.
