Poll: What's Your Favorite Belmont Shore Pizza Place?

Vote for your favorite purveyor of a slice of pie in the Belmont Shore-Naples area in our Readers' Choice 2012 Awards.

We have brought back a bigger and better Readers’ Choice this summer, and it's now time to vote for our 2012 awards. Twenty-five great categories, all designed to take advantage our readers’ local expertise.

Pizza is such a personal category. Some people love the chewy Chicago style, while others wouldn't even call it a pizza if it doesn't have a thin, crispy crust. We've got a wealth of pizza places in the area that take great pride in their customers' loyalty.

Culled from our nominees and e-mailed suggestions, here is the list:

Michael's Pizzeria

Z Pizza

Domenico's

Riley's

B.J.'s

New York Upper Crust Pizza

California Pizza Kitchen

Simmzy's

So what's your favorite place to get a pizza? Vote in our poll below, and feel free to elaborate in the comments.

Domenicos with quality pizza since 1954!

I agree Tom, it's different than other pizza in the way they layer the meat.

I voted for ZPizza, but we also like BJ's. Can't say I've tried all of them, though. Was CPK supposed to be on the list?

Michael's is definitely tasty for a gourmet pizza, but for the real deal, traditional pizza Upper Crust is the best! Also, how many places in CA even offer items like stromboli?
Nancy Wride (Editor) July 24, 2012 at 05:55 AM
Yes Trish I will add CPK to the poll. I love Michael's, but for the kids, they seem to favor Upper Crust, although I think a pizza would have to have sprouts on it to ever be rejected.
