When I go to click on ZFabrique it brings me to pussy and pooch so I cannot see any of their info nor vote for them.

I vote for Luna! My 1st pick is missing, Blue Window is a great place to pick up a gift!

My vote is definitely for Z Fabrique - hands down. It has been serving the community of belmont shores for 20 years and another 5 years on 4th street. Over the years, it has been my go-to store for just about everything for just about everyone. and the owner, Nancy, makes the experience so much the better. By the way - as Ginger said, the link attached to Z Fabrique is Pussy and Pooch. Please fix it so we can all vote.

I Love Fern's Garden. Everything is made by American artists, except all of the free trade items. Always a great selection of gifts in all price categories.

If you can read and write you have to love Apostrophe Books!! Not only my favorite Belmont Shore gift shop, my favorite Long Beach gift shop. If you are looking for the perfect fall birthday or winter holiday gift for a music fan do what I did and pre-order Pete Townshend of the Who's autobiography due out in October. Apostrophe will order them for you now.

Apostrophe Books!! They have a great selection, and what they don't have they can order - comes in less time than Amazon!!! Such a great place to spend time wondering around reading and chatting about books!!!

My vote is for Apostrophe Books. They have great books, journals, cards. And everyone is friendly.

I agree, Blue Window should be on the list as well. Luna is great too - they are both wonderful.

I love Apostrophe Books. It is so nice to have an intimate, independent bookstore back in town - and, right on Second Street! Love it. Luna is also fabulous, as is Blue Windows, not on the list.

When it comes to elegant art objects there's nothing like Luna. For all kinds of interesting and unusual items, including beautiful Buddhas, Fern's Garden tops the list. And, for varied reading and related materials, Apostrophe hits the mark. Love them all!

Apostrophe Books is what I remember bookstores used to be before the B.Daltonization/Barnes&Noblefication of the industry. The children's section at Apostrophe is outstanding and their attempts to have children included, nutured, and valued as both readers and customer - even purveyors(!) of books - is laudable and a return to putting the feel of a book in your hands. They are friendly and open to suggestions about how to improve their store. We go walking with our two preschoolers at least once a week and this is their favorite stop along the way.
