Motorcycle Show Rides Into Town

The Progressive International Motorcycle Show will be hosting demonstrations, celebrity appearances and more.

The Progressive International Motorcycle Show  has pulled into Long Beach for the weekend.

The event, which lasts until Sunday (Dec. 9), features the MotoGP Experience with bikes like Ben Spies #11’s Yamaha 1000cc, Nicky Hayden #69’s Ducati Corse 1000cc and Aaron Yates #20’s GP Tech Suzuki 1000cc.

Celebrity appearances from riders are also scheduled.

Other event features include J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show, the Progressive Open Road Experience, XDL Street Jam, demo rides, marketplace, free gear check and more.

Also, Strider Sports will present its award-winning balance bikes and Adventure Zone to the event. Children, from 18 months to five years old, can test ride demo bikes free of charge.

The International Motorcycle Show is underway at the Long Beach Convention Center (300 E. Ocean Blvd.) Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ticket prices range from $13-$30, depending on the number of days purchased and if they are purchased in advance online or at the door.
