Meet Belmont Shore-Naples Patch's Travis Raznos

Introducing our newest addition to the local team. He's here today and we're starting at Polly's. Where should he visit for his first Second Street stroll?

Today we introduce our new advertising manager, Travis Roznos. Travis's specialty in advertising sales is on new media and its unique potency for serving local business. He's especially good at helping business owners new to online exposure for their ventures, and very accessible.

He joined Patch in November 2010, and will be handling the Belmont Shore, Naples, Los Alamitos, Seal Beach and Southbay Patch areas.

In his free time, Travis enjoys many outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, playing baseball, camping, and surfing. You can find him around Belmont Shore and Naples, sharing Patch with businesses and consumers alike. "Feel free to say hi and ask me about how to use Patch to help your business," he urged.

Patch: As an advertising manager, what's the best part of your job?

Travis Roznos: I really enjoy offering online solutions to small business owners. Technology and the way local residents are consuming new media and finding local information online is changing fast. I see my job with Patch as a great way to be involved with community, be a part of something big in the online space, and helping local organizations with connecting with their community online. It's what I love most about my job.

Patch: What are your personal interests? What do you love about Southern California the most?

Roznos: I love to be outdoors and I have been learning how to surf. I'm a huge sports buff, so whether its me playing on flag football teams, amateur baseball teams, or watching every second of the NCAA March Madness tournament, sports are a huge passion of mine and always will be. If I have a son, I hope to coach his little league teams!

Patch: What do you find special about Patch?

Roznos: Patch is a great tool to keep in touch with your community and to stay aware of what is happening in your neighborhood. Patch is always current and relevant. It is a perfect tool for people to use to reach out to their communities and get involved. I love that we have the “Give Five” initiative [that encourages all Patch employees to spend five days out of the year volunteering in their community]. It feels good to give back, and to work for an organization completely living up to the mission of making local life for community residents ridiculously easy.

Patch: What's the best way for people to contact you about advertising on Patch?

Roznos: In person is always best. As an ambassador for Patch, I'm always at chamber of commerce events and local happenings. However, Patch has kept its people well stocked with technology. I always have my iPhone with me: 310-729-5204. Email is great too: travis.roznos@patch.com.
