On January 13, 2012, the restaurant Me Soo Hungry at the corner of Second Street and Santa Ana closed, and bid farewell to the neighborhood on its Facebook page.

After two long years at Me Soo Hungry, we regret to announce that we are closing our doors tomorrow January 13, 2013. Unfortunately, our hard work, perseverance, and dedication to the restaurant were not enough to maintain a business like Me Soo Hungry. There are simply too many people to say thank you, and so many incredible experiences to recount. We are grateful to all our staff, family, and friends and we can’t thank our loyal customers enough. You have made the experience, unforgettable. For the past two years it has been an honor to be part of this community and serve quality food to many people. The empty plates and satisfied stomachs will not be forgotten.
It is with great sadness that we have to say goodbye to our family restaurant. We will miss our friends dearly and will hold wonderful memories close to our hearts. We have been privileged to serve our community in unique ways and we have been blessed with the support of our community in return. We were the venue for celebrations large and small, contributing in many ways to the greater good of the surrounding community. I am so grateful to those that have graced our tables, supported our causes, and have made Me Soo Hungry the institution that it has become.
