Boeing has announced it will move even more engineering jobs from the Puget Sound to Long Beach, the Seattle Times reports.
Though the exact number of positions to be moved has not been finalized, the company said 375 engineers currently work in the unit where jobs will be relocated to Long Beach. The news came Thursday when managers told employees, according to the Times:
"Management told employees Thursday that aftermarket engineering work on modifying jets for current customers and converting aging passenger jets to freighters will move from Bellevue and Everett to Long Beach, Calif."
