100 Camp Outside Restaurant for Year of Free Food

For its opening day Monday, Buffalo Wild Wings offered free wings for a year to the first 100 guests, and that number or more staked out a place outside the Marina Pacifica Long Beach location.

More than 100 people camped overnight outside Long Beach's Buffalo Wild Wings to await its 11 a.m. Monday grand opening, for this deal: free wings for a year to the first 100 guests in the doors.

Jim Hurt, general manager of the newly opening restaurant, confirmed that number of campers Sunday night, sent Patch some photos of the overnighters mostly in beach chairs, and said he expected more folks before he returned at about 8 a.m. Monday.

The newest restaurant in the chain is located in Marina Pacifica shopping center at 6314 E. Pacific Coast Highway, in the footprint previously occupied by Walgreen's, near Barnes & Noble, Sportmart and the AMC Theaters.
