Steady Rain Expected Through Saturday

Pacific storm is expected to move in tonight, bringing light, steady rain and cool temperatures.

Remember to bring an umbrella when heading out today.

The National Weather Service is predicting a Pacific storm to move into the region. According to forecasters, the day will start out with a 10 percent chance of rain today increasing to an 80 percent chance of rain by tonight. Forecasters are expecting about a quarter to a third of an inch of rain along the Long Beach Coast.  Though the storm is expected to be light, it will be steady--with a 100 percent chance of rain throughout the day Saturday.

The storm is expected to let up Sunday only to be followed by a new system with a slight chance of rain anticipated on Monday.

Temperatures will remain cool with highs in the low 60s in Long Beach area through early next week, according to the weather service.
