Long Beach Prosecutor Announces Re-Election Bid

Long Beach City Prosecutor Douglas Haubert just announced in a press release that he will seek re-election with two big endorsements out of the gate. “Long Beach has a great City Prosecutor in Doug Haubert,” said Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey. “He is working closely with the District Attorney’s Office and local police to keep kids in school — and out of gangs. I proudly endorse his re-election as City Prosecutor.” “Haubert is a tough prosecutor who is focusing on reducing gang violence,” said former D.A. Steve Cooley, who retired in 2012 after three terms as District Attorney. “He has accomplished much in his first term of office, and he has earned re-election.” Did you vote for Haubert and would you re-elect him?
