VIDEO: How Much Would It Take to Get You to Move to Idaho?

Anchor Jack Flowers is back this week, roving the Bike Path for Patch.com with the fictional online news crew Belmont Shore Party.

BSP is an on-line newscast (Belmont Shore Party). In this latest episode for Patch, the head case anchorman returns to the show, and interviews residents on the Bike Path.

Late last year, Patch visited Cal State Long Beach's journalism students and faculty to enlist promising writers. When Patch asked them if students could produce original webisodes for us, we lucked out.

Someone knew student and filmmaker Amarakvati Murphy Ly--known as Murphy--and he said yes to Patch. In a matter of days, Murphy had five classmates, mostly sophomores, writing scripts, crumpling scripts, writing more scripts.

They call themselves Rev'd Up Productions, and you may see this band around town, interviewing real people (don't be alarmed). They're real fake reporters, and we're still trying to get them Patch t-shirts so you'll recognize them. Learn more about them or view their last episode here:  http://patch.com/A-cLfZ
