This year more than 80 dogs will dash in the Los Alamitos regionals, but only one will go from "wiener to winner." The official "Top Dog" title comes with a $250 cash prize and a trip to San Diego to compete in this year's Wiener National Finals at the Holiday Bowl.

Admission at the track is $3 for adults, free for all children 17 and older. Parking is free and gates open Saturday at 4:30 p.m. There will be two rounds of races in the evening with the final taking place just after 9 p.m..
