Last Chance to See Nutcracker This Weekend in LBC

Final three performances, conducted with a full symphony orchestra and cast that includes 'So You Think You Can Dance' finalist, will dazzle you with the beloved holiday story.

One last weekend, the Long Beach Ballet will present the only "Nutcracker" performance in Southern California with a live symphony orchestra.

The shows, which are performed at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center Terrace Theater, will feature guest performers and additional surprises for all ages to enjoy.

Melissa Sandvig, finalist in season five of "So You Think You Can Dance," will be returning to perform this year. There will also be guest performances by Seth Orza and Sarah Orza, principle dancers from Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle.

Performances are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m.
