Justin Rudd's 24-Hr. Photo Contest Now Underway

Belmont Shore resident, a professional photographer, puts on "Say Cheese, Long Beach."

A 24-hour photo contest is now underway in which digital photos can be entered in "Say Cheese, Long Beach," until 1 p.m. Monday for a chance to win prizes.

The contest was created by Belmont Shore resident Justin Rudd, founder of Community Action Team and events all year that support it or are funded by it--from Turkey Trot to the July 4th bike parade. (This Belmont Shore Patch editor plans on entering his bake-off Oct. 15, so it is on).

The deal with the contest is that you must take photos digitally and somewhere in the City of Long Beach. You need not be a Long Beach resident to enter submissions. There is no entry form. You enter your titling (have it ready) when you upload your entry. There are a few other stipulations but key among the rules is that the photo cannot be altered or enhanced beyond sizing and cropping.
