Visit the Aquarium and celebrate the ocean by joining in a scavenger hunt, special storytime, beach cleanup and more. (The official World Ocean Day is Friday, June 8, and is celebrated all over the world.) Come down to the beach and visit your ocean!
Themes like conservation of our urban coastline and getting to know the precious inhabitants of our ocean can be explored in family-oriented activities including arts and crafts, and scavenger hunts.
Exhibits focus on local Southern California marine life and display the colorful and wonderful animals you can find right here off our coast. CMA also offers an easy walk to a sandy beach, tidepools, and fishing pier for a chance to spot these animals in the wild. And don't forget to stop by the Gift Shop for ocean themed gifts and books.
