Visiting Artist Lecture Series: "Mural Art, Street Art, Public Art: Observations/Discussion" with Daniel J. Martinez and Carol Wells

From the website:

This panel discussion will focus on instances of censorship of political art in a variety of media in Southern California, including mural art and street art. The artists will speak about their experiences with censorship, and share their perspectives on recent cases in the LA area, and discuss ways in which censorship continues to be challenged.

This panel is part of Banned, Blacklisted and Boycotted: Censorship and the Response to It (The B-Word Project), an 18-month campus-wide initiative, running from September 2011 through December 2012, at California State University, Long Beach.
