The Queen Mary

The legendary Queen Mary calls Long Beach home. The 12-deck ocean liner, launched in 1936,  is open for tours, has shows, and offers shopping and dining. Visitors can enjoy overnight stays in the ship's luxury staterooms.

The Queen Mary is more than just a cruise ship, however, having carried up to 15,000 troops at a time during its war service, from 1940 to 1946. There is a historical exhibit on board detailing the steamer's military service.

There are a variety of ticket packages. General admission gets you on board to explore the ship at your own pace and includes the "Ghosts and Legends" show, the historic exhibit and an optional audio tour.
