Southern California Kids' Costume Contest

The free-to-enter SoCal Kids' Halloween Costume Contest hosted by Justin Rudd/CAT is Oct. 30, 2:20 p.m. at the Tot Lot at Livingston Park. Kids will walk the parade route before the Haute Dog Howl'oween Parade.

THERE WILL BE $100 cash awarded. More than 250 costumed kids are expected to be judged on creativity, originality and first impression. The top 10 costumed kids will each receive $10 cash from Justin Rudd's Community Action Team.

BRING a completed entry form with you when you sign-in at the Tot Lot at Livingston Park before 2:20 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 30. Contest begins promptly at 2:25 p.m. when entrants will walk the route of the Haute Dog Howl'oween Parade before the dogs begin. Kids will be judged along the parade route on creativity, style, originality, and first impression. Awards will take place inside the Tot Lot immediately around 3 p.m. (during the dog parade).
