Naples Holiday Boat Parade

Time for the 65th annual Naples Holiday Boat Parade. This year's theme is "TV Land Holidays." Big Boat Parade starts at 6 p.m. Little Boat Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. Note that the streets in Naples close at 5 p.m. on parade night.

Along with the boat parade, there will be three groups of carolers walking around the Island and singing holiday songs by the bridges.  Most homes in Naples will be decorated for the holidays in accompaniment of the Boat Parade theme. (there's a local competition for best decorated house). Restaurants and businesses also will be decorated.

You can access Naples off 2nd Street via several streets, including Naples Plaza, Revenna, Tivoli and The Toledo.

Big Boat Parade Route:  Begin at the Naples Plaza Park and head west along Vis del Golfo, bare right and continue along Corso di Napoli toward Belmont Shore.  At the end of Treasure Island bare right again, along the houses on the Naples side of the channel, continue towards the 2nd Street bridge.  Turn-around 180 degrees before the 2nd Street bridge and follow the swim buoys along Bayshore drive and the Peninsula. Pass the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club and proceed East down the main channel towards Seal Beach, again turn around 180 degrees in front of Koury’s restaurant. Continue West along the restaurants, staying on the right side of the channel, bare right past the Marine Bureau, along Basins 1,2,3, staying seaward of the diversionary seawall between Basins 2 and 3. Continue up the channel toward the Davies Bridge, make a 180 degree turn prior to the bridge, around the channel marker in front of the Sea Scouts Base, return along Basin 4, past the Long Beach Yacht Club, around the corner and finish at the end of Appian Way.

The Small Boat Parade route is different from the Large Boat Parade route. The Parade will begin at the Appian Way Bridge. The Small Boats will travel South along Bayshore Avenue, continue under the Belmont Shore 2nd Street Bridge and along the Naples Island seawall as close to the homes and docks on Naples Island as possible. The Small Boat Parade will enter Naples Canals through the main entrance in front of the Colonnade. The Parade will travel clockwise around the main canal and exit the same place it entered. Upon exiting the canals boats are instructed to turn left (East) and continue along the Naples Island seawall past Lido Lane, around the corner, finishing in front of Long Beach Yacht Club.
