LONG BEACH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA BALCONY CLUB DEBUT

The Long Beach Symphony Orchestra is excited to announce a new spin on the Classics with the LBSO Balcony Club social lounge. Debuting on October 6th, the new Long Beach hot spot has been designed to entice a new generation of concert-goers to enjoy the Symphony with a social and more relaxed ambiance. This experience is not only affordable, but invites a diverse audience to view the spectacular productions of the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra while in a contemporary social environment.

The existing balcony of the Terrace Theater will be transformed to offer a new take on the classical music experience.

Unlike most classical music events, this venue features a lounge environment with drink specials, modern décor, and a number of other amenities and surprises.

Attendees of the Balcony Club are invited to watch the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra performance in the Terrace Theater or live on plasma screens within the Balcony Club venue. For those who prefer to socialize, the Balcony offers the perfect setting for networking with other movers and shakers, while enjoying thought-provoking and stimulating music. Balcony Club ticket holders may bring drinks into the concert hall, enter and exit quietly during the performance, and use smart phones (in silent mode, of course!) for messaging and non-flash photography. The classic program fused with new settings and elements gives the Balcony Club a vibrant feel.  In short: this isn’t your everyday classical music experience, it’s so much more!

The LBSO Balcony Club will debut on opening night, October 6th, when music director Enrique Arturo Diemecke will conduct Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 featuring young sensation Haochen Zhang, plus Tchaikovsky’s powerful Symphony No. 5.
