Holiday Shopping in the Shore

Friday: 6-9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, Charles Dickens Carolers will serenade shoppers, and The Salvation Army will perform Christmas music in front of Chase Bank (5200 E. Second St.). On Saturday and Sunday, customers can park free for two hours, and again, there will be musical entertainment by groups such as The Salvation Army, International Peace Choir and Wilson High School Marching Band. Santa Claus will be on Second Street on Friday and from 2-5 p.m. each on Saturday and Sunday. Belmont Shore Business Association is event sponsor.
