Choir Program: In the Midst of Life

The Horizon Music Group, Justin Rudd and his Community Action Team present the Horizon Chamber Choir in a program entitled “in the midst of life.” Led by music director Christian Campos, the choir will perform a program of sacred and secular works, including J.S. Bach’s Jesu, meine Freude (BWV227), Henry Purcell’s Funeral Sentences, and Heinrich Schütz’s "Selig sind die Toten" (SWV 391). A reception will follow the concert. The concert is free to the public. A free-will offering will be taken at the door.

Parking: street parking and a parking lot is available on the corner of Livingston Dr. and Granada Ave next to the church.

Ticket holders are also invited to a FREE post-performance reception in the church's fellowship hall to meet the performers. Enjoy cakes, cookies, bars, brownies, and more from contestants in the Long Beach Bake-Off. Complimentary refreshments will be served by the Community Action Team and Teen/Miss/Mrs. Long Beach and Southern California Cities.
