Long Beach author and poet, Ivy Dee, will debut her poetry collection Blood and a Drop of Milk at Apostrophe Books in Belmont Shore on Saturday, December 3, from 2-4 p.m. The event will also feature film and stage actress Zelka Gortinski of the Classical Theater Lab, whose inspired interpretation of Ms. Dee’s poems make this an event not to be missed.  In Blood and a Drop of Milk, Dee speaks in a contemporary female voice who’s exploring her own femininity within an assertive and deeply-romantic melody. As a bold troubadour, she directly addresses her male counterpart, all while inviting any reader with a drop of romance in their heart to partake in the journey.
