The Red, White, and Blue of the Kids' Bike Parade

Patriotic costumes, speeches, watermelon-seed spitting — and the parade

As we head for the weekend, let's overcome the rest of the work week by looking back at the best mid-week day ever, Independence Day. In Belmont Shore-Naples it was all about the Community Action Team's Great American 4th of July Kids Bike Parade and the contest fun of patriotic costumes, patriotic speeches and a bit of watermelon-seed spitting.
