What's the Best Part of the Belmont Shore Parade?
Is it the same marching band or drill team each year? The shelter dogs? The scouts? Share your shots.
Each year, Charter Cable broadcasts the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade in its entirety, and this year that comes at 8 p.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Sumday. In the meantime, we found this quite different vantage point than the rebroadcast will offer. It's a YouTube video taken by someone walking in the parade, and so you will hear, "Merry Christmas!" about 400 times in 14 minutes. It is truly a picture of the community and spectators more than every passing float from the sidelines.
