Water Taxi Links To Belmont Pier

Long Beach Transit Thursday introduced the AquaLink Water Taxi's newest stop, at the Belmont Pier.

The route the water taxi will follow is to take riders from the Pier to Alamitos Bay Landing and on to the Queen Mary, the back, for a $5 fee.

 Service will begin Saturday and run through September 11, 2011.

The water taxi, which can accommodate up to six bicycles, also features a snack bar and alcoholic beverages.
