Happy Saturday night, Long Beach. Catalina was sharply in focus. You could see the Isthmus, and a fellow jogger said San Clemente Island was visible, which he said is a rarity. I know that I have never seen it peeking from behind Catalina, which today looked far closer than 25 miles away. If you get some good sunrise or sunset shots, share them with your neighbors here.
