Sunny July 4th Forecast in Shore

Expect pleasantly warm conditions through the holiday weekend.

After a warm day on Friday in Long Beach, where the temperature at the airport reached 86 degrees, Belmont Shore and Naples should continue to see milder conditions than inland regions. The current temperature on our coast is 77 degrees with a winds at about 10 mph.

The much warmer air is part of a strong ridge of high pressure that's built up over Southern California, according to a special weather statement issued by the National Weather Service. Those conditions are expected to continue throughout the Fourth of July weekend.

A patchy dense fog is expected in move in tonight after 11, when the temperature will reach a low of around 62, and to continue along with cloudiness until midmorning Saturday. The high should reach 75.

The pattern is expected to continue on Satuday night and into Sunday, when it will again gradually become sunny after morning cloudiness to reach a high temperature of 76. Conditions should be clear on Sunday night, with a low of about 65. 

Independence day will be mostly sunny, with a high again of about 76. The night of July Fourth will again be mostly clear, with a low of about 63 degrees.
