Residents Assn. Election and Meeting Tonight

Voting for the new Belmont Shore Residents Assn. board is 6-7pm at Bayshore Library.

It's the annual election for who will lead the Belmont Shore Residents Assn., which represents hundreds of residential property owners, tonight at the Bayshore Library. Voting is from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Eleven candidates are running for positions. They include longtime resident, parent and former Wilson water polo player Kurt Borsting for president. Borsting works with students at Cal State University, Fullerton.

The general BSRA meeting will also run until about 7:30 tonight. Current and new members are encouraged to participate in the election process. New members are required to bring a valid ID stating Belmont Shore residency as well as $10 for membership.

The 11 candidates running for BSRA board are:  President - Kurt Borsting, Vice President -  Terence Endersen, Secretary - Jeff Miller, Treasurer - Robert O’Connor, Members at Large: Max Alavi, Aileen Colon, Julie Dean, John Forstrom, Marvin Jones, Chrisjeon Clemmer, and Robert Stropky.
