A collision Tuesday afternoon in downtown Long Beach left one vehicle on its side on Ocean Boulevard at Chestnut Place, police and witnesses reported.
Sgt. Aaron Eaton, spokesman for the Long Beach Police Department, said the two-vehicle crash happened at 4:00 p.m.
"No further information will be released until the accident report is released from detectives," Eaton e-mailed. A witness to the aftermath of the wreck said bystanders described the vehicles as traveling very fast before they crashed.
