The lunch hour was busy on Second Street outside Chase Bank, where we stopped to find out what Greenpeace International was doing in Belmont Shore. It turns out, said this volunteer, that the environmental organization goes where there are lots of pedestrians, and Long Beach had plenty of those Monday. The two volunteers are from Ireland and found success with the no-pressure approach.
