Black Friday Meditation Mob @ WalMart

Shop till you drop…into mindfulness!

Every year on Black Friday, millions of shoppers descend upon WalMart and other big-box stores like a pack of hungry hyenas.

This year, MedMob Long Beach invites the public to join us in spreading the energy of mindfulness, as we alchemize the Shopocalypse into an inner awakening of gratitude and thankfulness for the things that money can’t buy, coordinated with hundreds of cities around the world in the MedMob network.

We’ll meet outside WalMart at City Place Shopping Center in Downtown Long Beach at 9am, for a 44 minute silent meditation followed by an 11 minute sound bath (chanting / singing your highest vibration).

This monthly event is open to everyone, whether you’re Athiest, Buddhist, Christian, Muslim, or a follower of The Flying Spaghetti Monster. If you’ve never meditated before, worry not! You can come meditate for a few minutes, or the whole hour.

The intention of the MedMob movement is to gather peacefully, exposing the world to meditation while expanding positivity in all walks of life.
