Albertson's Isn't Closed Yet But 'All Sales Are Final'

Have you been in the Albertson's store at Second Street and Marina Drive lately? It was said to be closing in March, and checkers have invited some customers to a parking lot party on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14.  But do you think there will be anything left in a month? Here are some shots we took Monday night.

Deli, bakery and meat counters were closed. No refrigerated produce was available, though there was still a lot of frozen food and packaged cheeses, lunchmeat, etc., and some dairy products. Only two registers were operating on Monday evening. Having an Albertson's card wouldn't get you any special discount -- it no longer applies.

All sales, of course, were final.
