Vegetarian recipes that taste farm fresh/ In Home Care for Elders with Heart Disease
Going vegetarian or vegan may seem trendy, but it's something to think about for seniors who have suffered a recent heart attack. Low in fat, calories and nutrient dense, a well balanced vegetarian diet can leave you feeling satisfied and healthy.
Some cultures or religions practice vegetarianism as a part of life. When these individuals grow older, we have skilled caregivers who can practice meat-free cooking. We enjoy recipes that feature tofu, nuts, or seeds to fill protein requirements.
