Guy Felton (51), or “The Man with 9 Lives”, has endured so much at a young age. He is very fortunate to have recovered from Lymphoma after years of treatment, and then from a ruptured diverticulitis and ultimately from his sudden cardiac arrest, where he was dead for 20 minutes. It seems like nothing can keep this man down, and he won’t let it. Being a trooper through all of his medical issues, Guy keeps his head up.
Guy says that “It doesn't matter if the cancer takes you out or not, but it does matters if you consider yourself a person "Living with Cancer" or "Dying from Cancer." Guy believes it's all about how you play it out to the end. Walking, jogging, or running, you can catch Guy out there overcoming every obstacle that life throws at him.

And you’ll catch Guy this Sunday May 4, 2014 at the US Bank 10th Annual OC Marathon, along with 22,000 other runners participating in the marathon, half marathon, Wahoo’s OC 5K, and Kids Run the OC. Starting at the Newport Beach Marriott and ending at the OC Fair and Event Center, the race traverses Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, and Santa Ana.
