Nearly 200 business and community leaders – after a day of shadowing local school principals as part of the annual Principal for a Day event – will gather for the 2012 State of Education debriefing session. The event is the largest single-day involvement of local businesses in Long Beach public schools.

Joining Darnieder for the State of Education will be the following panelists: Long Beach Unified School District Superintendent Christopher J. Steinhauser, Long Beach City College President Eloy Ortiz Oakley, Cal State Long Beach Provost Don Para, Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Chair Jerry Miller, and Tricor Co-Founder Damon Dunn.
The State of Education session is free and open to the public.
